Sevillian Pie (To the tune of American Pie)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Long long time ago in a peninsula far away
there existed only one football team
FC Sevilla was the name
and playing football was the aim
But they had certain dodgy unwritten rules

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Some said these rules dont thrill us
They stifle us and try to kill us
we wanna escape from this place
to a club without any rules of society place

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 we can’t remember if we cried
when we read about this new club side
but something touched me deep inside
the day Sevilla had two club sides

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 We started singing My My this FC Sevilla guy
wants more n more players but only of class high
we poor old workers were drinking whiskey and rye
Singin i want a club i can call mine
i want a club i can call mine…..

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So a group of directors led by the family called
Borbolla Formed a new club said Hola!
broke off from fc sevilla u see
and They called it Betis FC and opened it to all u can
see
pissed fc sevilla off royally..

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 king alfonso also liked em cos he granted the title
real to them
they made the san sebastien move
but they were kicked out from there toooooo
they returned to andalusia and set up shop in fair
sevilla
and the eternal rivalry was born… we started
singin…
CHORUS

Notes
