If you wish your life were fuller,
had a little bit more colour,
and you’re tired of seeing things in monochrome,
you could wipe away the greyness,
add a little touch of gayness –
you could make your life less heinous
with your vanishing foam.

If your boss is getting uppity
about your seventh cup o’ tea
and your pulse is throbbing like a metronome,
simply smile a little sweetly,
reach behind you most discreetly
and then smother him completely
in your vanishing foam.

If you’re out in Transylvania,
satisfying vampire mania
and the sun is going to set before you’re home,
sprigs of garlic will not drop them.
wooden heart-stakes will not top them –
no, the only thing to stop them
is your vanishing foam.

All the mistakes in your past, babe,
you thought were there to last, babe,
no matter how widely you might roam –
if you thought that there’s not an
incident that’s not been rotten,
well, they all can be forgotten
with your vanishing foam.
