Spot the Ball Competition

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When I was a kid
‘Spot the Ball’ was a grainy black and white photograph
And you had to indicate with a cross
Where you thought the ball was

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Picture the scene
After extra time, it went to pens
And players had to put the ball
Where they thought the net was

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 With fans hoping that Norwich would break their tradition
Of indicating with crosses
Instead of shots

Notes

Norwich City have nothing to fear from penalty shoot-outs. It is rumoured that they won one once.
We lost the Play off Final to Birmingham in 2002/3 on penalties. With the current Championship top six looking so tight, our big nightmare is the thought of playing Ipswich in the play-off final at Wembley. We have our local derby at Carra Rud on Sunday – should be a cracker. We’re one point behind Ipswich AT THE MOMENT…
