Sometimes , like proverbial buses, you wait forever for
a great goal – then two come along together on the same night.
But which, if you had to pick one was the greatest goal you ever saw.. or scored yourself?

If goals are poetry then let’s have some poetry on favourite goals..

An impish young Greaves’ mazey dribble v Wolves in 58 or Best v Northampton in the mud? Gazza v Scotland or Owen v Argentina? Ricky Villa v Man City in the FA Cup Final . Pele and Ronadinho or Hurst in 66? So many to reflect upon .Your poems please .
