Darling’s Hair

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When politics become irrelevant
and none of the changes fair
Just think of new labour’s image
and Alistair Darling’s hair.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It sits upon his crown so well
and keeps him nice and snug
But I think it’s the mop from hell.
Yes, it’s a hideous rug.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 His eyebrows are dark
yet his fringe is oh so bright
So with black blinker guards,
why is his topcoat white?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Did an accident in his youth
cause excessive ageing
Like painfully losing a tooth,
or realising something amazing?

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Who knows what happened to him
It’s beyond me how ‘bout you?
Maybe it’s a GM thing
And his ear hair will turn blue.

Notes

Just saw an exceptional view of Mr.Darling’s hair on BBC.Thought it worthy of a wee ditty.
