Mr Jinky, jump and jive
The jinkiest jinkin’ man alive
He can twist and he can wriggle
But he can’t run straight. He runs in a squiggle.

Now there’s folks that’s yellow and folks that’s red
And there’s blacks and whites though I’ve heard it said
Black’s more like brown and whites is pinks
But they all got nothin’ on the man that jinks
The most coloursome man you’ve ever seen
‘Cause Mr Jinky is a man that’s green.

Now Mr Jinky’s full of fun
Just give him a ball, he loves to run
In and out your feet to make you dizzy
Make your ears go pop make your brain go fizzy.
Make your head spin so that your wits is lost.
He’ll run around you till your eyes go crossed.

Now if you try to take that ball
You got no chance, no chance at all
‘Cause first he’s there and now he’s here
And then he seems to disappear
You say “I’m lookin’ but I can’t find ya”
He says “That’s ’cause I’m behind ya.”

Now if you get frustrated and you swing a kick
At Mr Jinky he jinks so quick
You might kick where he was but he’s not still there
And you’ll just be kickin’ at empty air
Sayin’ “Now I get you on the end of my toe…
Goodness Gracious, where’d he go?”

Now when Mr Jinky’s fancy feet
Have run you ragged and got you beat
With a Jinkyman laugh he thumbs his nose
Give a Jinkyman jink then off he goes
“You can try as hard as you can
But you can’t catch me,” say the Jinky Man.
