we sat in the cold Main Stand and watched

Smith and ‘Smith, so no surprise to see ’em

alongside Sir Roger Hunt and Ian St. John in ’64.
In the Charity Shield Match with Man U, I stood

in the old Paddock as Alf turned, twisted his leg,
did his cartilage. After, Alf was never the same.
