Heartbroken

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Fortune was in my darling’s eyes,
before the penny made it’s imminent decline,
joy through our hopeful hearts did rush,
what time’s hand stabbed, deflated and crushed,
all the beating charged in our chest,
stopped sudden second’s from the end,
pieces cracked upon this stadium floor,
but mended with applause of bravery’s show.

Notes

Very unlucky Wigan.
