There was an old keeper from Limerick
Who answered to the name of dim Rick
He would always crave
To make a save
But the lads kept on taking the Mick!

There was a crazy keeper from Limerick town
His jersey was green, his surname Brown
His eyes were an icy blue
And so were his fingers too
From all the cold pints of Guinness he liked to drown!

There once came a keeper to Limerick town
A bearded man of saintly renown
He didn’t just save goals
But was also a saviour of lost souls
And bejaysus! Sure didn’t he have #1 on his gown!
