Saints topple the champs

Southampton 1-0 Liverpool

It’s been over five hours
Saints failed to hit the board
With his old club in town
That man Ings just scored

Not a shot on target
Surely it would get better
But the Saints rearguard
Followed it to the letter

In the South Coast
We failed to get to grips
With three points dropped
Our rivals lick their lips

Saints shaken at home

Southampton 1-2 Liverpool

March was the time
When the Reds began this climb
Saints the latest to face the gun
Of an eleven game unbeaten run

On his return it was super Sadio
Scoring and assisting Firmino
Not to be outdone up pops Ings
Sometimes that’s the way with these things

With Alisson out up goes the vacancy sign
It’s time to step up and shine
He’s now the keeper in the main
Adrian, the man from Spain
