Notes

A rengay is a contemporary linked verse developed by Garry Gay of the US. It is a development out of the Japanese renku, which is a participation (or symbiotic) poem of a fixed number of linked stanzas with various game rules. The rengay is a themed, 6 stanza poem in which 1-3 poets alternate 3 & 2 line stanzas. More about rengay can be found at GarryGay’s photography – poetry website at:

(But for more information about soccer, you’ll have to ask Paul Conneally!!!)
