It’s nice to see we’re in the papers
It’s nice to see we’re getting press
They say we’ve more dough then Glazer
But I couldn’t care less

The stuff I read makes my heart bleed
And all relates to greed
Corruption and underhand deception
Dodgy deals and secret meals
That set the wheels in motion
Preplanned by our man, to steal?

A great season for me is tarnished
By all that’s going down
Instead of the new kids on the block
We’re the new crooks of London town
Does anybody like us, do we really care?
We’ll buy your loyalty or else
You can go elsewhere

Oiligarchs and deals after dark
Stink of whats to come
It’s not just us who we can’t trust
It could be any of 19 who succumb

I’m worried for the future where money
Conquers all
As the so called beautiful game
Is not about football
The field of play won’t have a say
In what and who wins cups
As conglomerates take over
And share price rises up

Spin an Amex gold card
Instead of a coin
To decide which way we kick
If you don’t want to face the wind
Discuss it with Nesquik
As halftime comes a Diet Coke
Will make make you feel alright
If second half is stressful
Smoke a Marlboro light
Let Adidas sponsor the match
As will be their right
If you feel the fee is inadequate
Secretly re-negioate with Nike!!!
