Me hands are still sore from clapping
But now we have won the Premier league
The afore mentioned are all part of the trappings

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 A dodgy decision gave us a pen
Although I’m not sure that, that’s right
Anyway we scored the vital goal
That keeps that points record in sight

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A fabulous time was had by us all
Who stayed on till after the end
13 players from ’55’ also got a trophy
That they didn’t get way back then!

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 All of the boys as old as they were
Looked in remarkable shape
The young and the old
Were getting on grand
So everything turned out great!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Fantastic sights were seen by us all
That will stay in our minds for ever
The fireworks and choirworks were really so cool
Some of the songs were so clever!

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 All of the backroom staff had smiles and a laugh
As the pensioners in their finery turned out
As the two Chelsea teams
Who fulfilled all our dreams
Paraded the trophy about!

About such a day
That you thought
Would just stay as a dream
As this evening crept in
I pinched my self again
To make sure we’re the number one team!!!
