An Anfield Prayer

Gracious Anfield
I can see you now,
My allegiances rest
Upon your soul.

My reddened heart
Within this hallowed land,
Our heavenly paradise
Endlessly to stroll hand in hand.
¶ 3

Unfailingly we have fantasised
Of riches so grand,
Destroying our fear
What we crave will soon be found.
¶ 4

I pray now, for us all
This everlasting plight,
We shall conquer
Our visions of glory in sight.
