2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 If we live in a world without inequality ,
where injustice is vanquished .
In an England without food banks ,
a Palestine without a wall ,
a Rio without child slaves .

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 On a globe that values the young and the old.
Then we will see beauty all around.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 In the meantime on this earth on which might reigns ,
where we cower from the snoopers and dodge the drones ,
we have to lift our hearts
…..and talk about the football .

Many on social media , commented on England’s early return , and again with a game free day on Friday – -, now let’s discuss the real stuff – macro social issues , prospects of yet more wars ……
Should we ( some would say blinkered ) footie fans feel any guilt for enjoying this fiesta ??
