I’ll plump for morose maroon
stencil the borders, with Portuguese Men’o’war
their tentacles, like ventricles, across a ravaged heart

for a room, of excitement and wonder
I’ll choose a blazing red
stencil the borders, with dragons, breathing fire
the flames, igniting a passion to inspire

I’ll brush on a busy blue
stencil the borders, with a Rising Sun

I’ll pick out an appetizing avocado green, with a mix of guacamole
break across the border, engulfed with waves of enthusiasm

I’ll select a dazzling yellow, to brighten up everybody’s day
stencil the borders, with a samba band, playing in the sand
to a pulsating beat, and a rhythm to make your heart sway
