Football

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 FOOTBALL

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Football is wishing I was Christiano’s girlfriend,
A jingle being sung with a distinct and untrained voice,
A pitch of players and pleading pleading crowd.
Spectators whooping like howler monkeys
Players running madly up the pitch
When they score – I’m a mad lunatic!
Football can be mentally unstable
Yet it’s a game for you and me.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Football’s not hard to play – if you’re me!
It’s no fun unless you’re muddy and stinky.
Football’s not for non-tryers or wimps
Nor an excuse to get drunk and hit your wife.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Football is not lavender-scented ladies
And football is not played in the zoo.
