to meet the challenge that lies ahead

To the memories of days gone by
and the great men who’ve worn the shirt
A lump in the throat and a tear in the eye
an end to all the years of hurt

I cannot say how sick I feel
as I wait in anticipation
We have to make it to Seville
for the sake of the whole nation

So lets cross our fingers say a prayer
lets do it like I know we can
we send our best to all the players
and hope that God’s a Celtic fan.
