Horrible Owners

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 They creep into our clubs
pretend to be angels of light,
but really they’re demonic
like thieves in the night.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 They like to show off their wealth
sports cars and diamond rings,
they promise fans this and that
and they’re here to win things.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But they bring your club down
you wonder how bad can this get ?
as they’ve sold your best players
and you’re also falling into debt.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 These owners are like a disease
that just won’t ever go away,
they’ll leave you in such a state
all you can do is hope and pray.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So beware of these horrible owners
as they pretend to bring joy,
but they’re wolves in sheep’s clothing
and before long they’ll destroy !

I really feel for Newcastle fans as their owner has turned out to be a disaster hasn’t he ?
The owners of my club came in and have slowly brought us to the point of relegation to League Two through rubbish management. This poem is a warning to clubs on the verge of having new owners as they may seem okay at first but they could end up destroying it.
Not all are bad obviously but there are some who should never be allowed near football clubs.
