The Funeral Procession
For canine self-expression
Paid their last respects,
Increased the weight of debts,
Attended to the obsequies,
Sang and shouted eulogies,
In blue shirts and facial woad,
Kept right on to the end of t’road,
To the solemn dead centre of Huddersfield Town,
The Yorkshire Memorial Underground,
Where stand the Styx boats and their ferriers,
For Birmingham buriers of Terriers.
