Even expressing freedom can depend
with defining freedom. “Nothing concerns me
about what people write or say. What matters
is what’s on the inside,” continued the manager,
in more or less those words, perhaps referring
towards some internal goings-on
at the England football headquarters.
I can write whatever I want to write
and so I write myself a mockery,
in terms of employment on the pitch.
