Are footballers paid a sensible wage,
Or do they earn all they can grab?
Do their agents grow fat, like plump, overfed cats,
In the Land, in the Land of the Yak?

Is a Gaffer allowed to get on with the job?
Or does failure mean he gets the sack?
Is his Chairman much more than a rich, foul-mouthed yob,
In the Land, in the Land of the Yak?

Do the Linesmen and Ref get an ounce of respect
From the players, and fans at their back?
If you point to the Spot, do you risk getting shot,
In the Land, in the Land of the Yak?

Are you booed for your Faith, for your Roots or your Race,
In the Land, in the Land of the Yak?

In the Land, in the Land of the Yak?
