not a face that sniffs of fear
men of steely nerve

in that football driven place

Notes

A mad lightning striken day at Glastonbury and then an amazing Peace event at Wembley…but still I’m left trying to keep in touch with Costa Rica v Greece on the way back to Stroud on a late late train..

Couldn’t get the live link to work or hold..so reduced to Guardian updates and clicking refresh at each station..Wifi’s rubbish on First Great Western..

We pull in at 11.37. Run for the car. Back to the cottage. Where’s the remote?..Come on..come on..Yes.

Just in time to catch the first pen
Sometimes it’s even worth missing Dolly Parton!
