That King Kenny made a find.
And from the club of Bournmouth,
The teenage Redknapp was signed.

So talent was in the blood.
Young Jamie didn’t disappoint
And proved he was no dud!

Made him loved on and off field.
308 games were played,
41 goals he did yield.

Along with Steve and Robbie,
They were the boys known as spice.
But you wouldn’t have thought it;
He just looked too nice!

But now he has left us;
Swapped the red shirt for white
Still plagued by injuries,
Let’s hope he’s soon alright.
