Lord of the wing

Jinky Johnstone was the man
Adored by every Celtic fan
He could dribble and he could run
He would beat opponents just for fun
He played every game with a smile
The greastest ever Celt by a mile
He had an infectious laugh and grin
Made you realise he was born to win
On the pitch defenders he rattled
In sickness and in health he battled
We will never forget the pleasure he brought
A generation of players he taught
Jinky Johnstone on the wing
Was what the Celtic fans would sing
He always wore the number seven
Now he sits with god in heaven
I know you can hear all the angels sing
Jinky Johnstone Lord Of The Wing
