You see the bigger picture with focus second to none.

Who hopes by season’s end to have a smile upon his face.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Merry Christmas to the coaches who try standards to improve
Their only satisfaction being when the team is in the groove.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Merry Christmas to the scouts who have such a thankless task
To find that affordable, brilliant player is such a massive ask.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Merry Christmas to the grounds men whose work day after day
Provide a playing surface on which everyone loves to play.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Merry Christmas to the backroom staff, too numerous to name
Who work so hard for the club and never see a game.

Who buy the shirts and merchandise, Bovril, pies and beer.

With a big screen telly or illegal stream no matter where they are.

In a team who are desperate to get in the title race.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that we all belong to the same club. All of us, small parts of a living thing with a beating heart. But like all living things, our club relies on all the small parts to function in unison to maintain its smooth running and ensure its longevity.
So this Christmas take a moment to reflect on where we have been as a club, where we are now and our future possibilities. Nothing in this world is certain, but if we all function in unison the possibilities for this great club of ours are boundless.
