Midwinter Blues

Any cold wet winter day,
Always seems to be Grimsby away,
The gloomy backdrop of Pleasureland,
Behind the ancient wooden stand,
Few locals drift in, they never do,
Prime candidates for division two,
Lack of atmosphere and passion,
Where tank tops are the latest fashion,
A boring draw, why do they bother,
Turning up in any weather,
Grimsby’s dull on any day,
Rather cross the river to watch Hull play
