Musing

It seemed we were idly cruising,
But now it is somewhat bemusing.
Oh yet again Cork caught us snoozing,
And we ended deservedly losing.
Where confidence once had been oozing,
When fans had been loudly enthusing,
Now once again they are abusing,
And rightly or wrongly accusing.
Of course, there’s no point in excusing
The comments supportive or bruising.
For when anybody’s perusing
The table, it’s somewhat confusing.
What drugs are the Eircom League using?
The barstoolers think it amusing.
Its no wonder most of us are choosing
To spend our nights secretly boozing.
