Hull City fans don’t want to be Tigers
The Bluebirds didn’t want to be red
It got me thinking ‘what if’ Norwich City
Were known as Delia’s Donkeys instead

We’re famous for our Canaries
Those gutsy singing yellow birds
Since our club formed in 1902
We’ve been right good for two-thirds

It’s the final third where we have problems
We can’t seem to score enough goals

Each ninety minutes can be a struggle
We endure sustained attack each half
Premiership clubs are merciless like Sylvester
But, like Tweety, we’ll have the last laugh

Our club is in clear and present danger
So we’ll rename the Canaries ‘Albatrosses’
We can’t continue as we are
Fighting to turn wins into losses

We are proud of our club and our history
And of the Canary to which we are linked
Fighting hard not to be like the Dodo
Relegated, expired and extinct
