seizing control of their own fate,
their club to mould, theirs to create,
and take the reigns before it’s too late.
Hear them scream and hear them shout,
they want the cockney mafia out!

And all the players knew my name.
I knew their names and I was glad,
When we beat Sunderland they got mad.
I have loved Newcastle all my life,
They create the tension you can cut with a knife.
They love to play in black and white,
Against the team at the Stadium of Light.
They are poor, very poor,
Don’t ask me how, I’m just sure.

The crowd cheering like a band,
Making my way to my seat.

Injuries are terrible all footballers hate,
