1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 91 years he followed our team
Man & boy he lived the dream
Not a fan to sit in his chair
He loved the town and club to be fair

He stepped up to the plate
But for Sir Jack
They’d have shut the gate

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The house Jack built
Is a permenant marker
To a man that we needed
When times were darker

Whenever we’d ask
He was always but always
Up to the task

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So time to say thank you
For all that you gave
From all at the club
That you were there to save

Bought a tear to the eye
The fans had their chance
To sing their goodbye

For your generous gift
To quote one manager
“You put in your shift”

As a new dawn evolves
