91 years he followed our team
Man & boy he lived the dream
Not a fan to sit in his chair
He loved the town and club to be fair

When he was needed
He stepped up to the plate
But for Sir Jack
They’d have shut the gate

The house Jack built
Is a permenant marker
To a man that we needed
When times were darker

He gave of himself
Whenever we’d ask
He was always but always
Up to the task

So time to say thank you
For all that you gave
From all at the club
That you were there to save

The tribute they gave
Bought a tear to the eye
The fans had their chance
To sing their goodbye

So thank you Sir Jack
For your generous gift
To quote one manager
“You put in your shift”

Your presence will be missed
As a new dawn evolves
Thank you Sir Jack
For all you did for the Wolves
