The weather is cold

Up and out with your flask
To find the next star in the sky

All elements you face
Looking for a player
Your right on the case

Your up to you socks in mud
And watchin in the cold
You spot a young kid who
Makes you forget you are old

You talk to his gaffer
And then to his dad
See the look on his face
Makes the heart feel glad

Off he goes home
With his head full of dreams
He’s gona be a star
With all the pro teams.

A few make the grade
You just give em a chance
Of the stuff dreams are made
