P eople judged him as he stepped on the green
A ll of them hated him, even the fans of his team
U nited together they tortured and abused him
L ifeless in his heart, feeling he was a sin

C old was his mind, his soul and body
A s all the abuse left him alone with no-body
‘N igger’ and ‘Nigro’ is what they would say
O ther people would just look away
V ery very brave, Paul was to go on
I n time the fans of Chelsea changed their song
L ittle by little, he grew to fame
L ittle by little, of his colour, he had no shame
E ventually the racist taunts, he began to tame
