Petr Cech – Still the Best

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Some say he’s cracked, he’s lost it,
gone downhill, is not the same,
as before the injury and
won’t be that good again.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 His own team’s fans complain,
some say they want him sacked,
but I’ve seen this man when he’s on form
and know he’ll get it back.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The word legend is overused,
has started to lose it’s meaning
but it’s still right for Petr Cech
who’s future’s bright and gleaming.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I know that as an Arsenal fan
I shouldn’t really wish him well,
And I am a loyal Arsenal fan
but as far as I can tell

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 An in-form Cech puts in perspective,
Van der Sar, Reina – even Green,
there’s just no scoring past him,
Chelsea fans, you know what I mean.

A class above the rest,
this is a mere blip in form,
you know he’s still the best.

Notes

As an Arsenal fan I really shouldn’t say this, but for me, Petr Cech is the best goalkeeper in the Premiership. It’s an education watching the man at his best, one of my main role-models, especially after coming back from injury and not compromising his style – still dives at feet. Brilliant keeper. End of.
