like a temporary bypass
the ball is shepherded away from goal;
skilled workmen set out the detour
laying down the cones that shall not be breached;

our poet in motion
must dazzle with with his or her dictum –
their boots must embezzle to purloin the points
then embellish how we nicked ’em!
