Poetry In The Stadium

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 SMELL
When you walk into the ground
You can smell the atmosphere
You can smell the flipping mud
You can smell the sugar out of the tea.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 SEE
I can see Redknapp shouting and
The players running
The referee giving yellow cards.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 SOUND
I can hear forever blowing bubbles
I can hear the post going clonk
I can hear players shouting at each other.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 TOUCH
I can touch the tension
I can feel the wind
I can feel the hurting in Di Canio.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 TASTE
I can taste the ketchup and the onions in the hotdogs
I can taste the hot tea bought from the café
I can taste the cold can of coke bought from the man in the corridor
I can taste the rain on my tongue that goes down my mouth or on the ground.
