Is it that he’s living
Your dream,
But in your dream
He’s white,
And the reality’s
Not quite right?
I don’t understand
What makes you scream
Abuse.
Insecurities let loose?
When you proffer your
Vitriolic spin,
Is it really
The colour of his skin?
Can it really be something
So stupidly vile,
And puerile,
Does it eat away at you,
This vicious bile,
From the inside?
Does it hide
A sense of inadequacy?
Make you feel strong, proud,
Shouting petty insults
From the safety of a crowd?
But in the end I hope,
That when push comes to shove,
And whatever your point of view,
I may never understand,
But at least I’ll be rid of you.
From the game I love.
