Red Swift

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When I was eleven,
I first went to heaven,
A grey and red shed round the block!
In a region conflicted,
My heart was afflicted,
to love the team Midlanders’ mocked.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But the season’s have passed,
and supporters have massed,
but nothing has changed how we feel.
Igored local derision-
Twice rose in division
could the Saddlers have gained some appeal?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 So now we are found,
In a much improved ground,
with finances amongst the best.
So for all our endevour,
Be prouder than ever…
To wear the Red Swift on your chest.
