Ridiculous SWP Ban

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A player CAN be banned for self-defense,
A 3 match ban the consequence
of the FA’s inane stupidity,
why this is is beyond me.
Bossinga got away with worse,
the FA’s actions are perverse,
Delap was the villain not SWP,
why is that so hard for the FA to see?
This is a ban that I dispute,
for throwing the game into disrepute,
this decision’s more than naff
Violent conduct? you’re having a laugh.

Notes

I don’t understand how Shaun Wright-Phillips can get the same punishment for defending himself as Rory Delap got for that ridiculous foul and then kicking him while he was down. This in the same week that Bossinga gets nothing for burying his studs in Yossi Benayoun’s side. To be honest, SWP’s reaction was a yellow card at the most (I’d have let him off with a caution)
