gonna mail it to my local MP,
I wanna put on record,
feeling certain that he’s sure to agree,
how to buy Ronaldinho
and maybe also Thierry Henry..

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He’s named Mr Brown
and recently has been in the news,
went to school in Kirkca’dy,
where he formed some political views,
a Raith Rovers supporter
from the top of his head to his shoes..

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’ll suggest that one day
at the Palace having tea with the Queen,
over cucumber sandwiches,
or strawb’ry jam scones with fresh cream,
when discussing the nation
and Kirkca’dy’s own football team..

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 That they both write a letter
to a Russian oil billionaire,
asking for a few million,
he’s bound to have money to spare,
it could make all the diff’rence
as to how our team’s fortune will fare..

Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Member of Parliament for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, is also Honorary President of the Raith Rovers Supporters Club. The Prime Minister was at Starks Park recently to watch the Rovers win 3 – 1 against Berwick Rangers.
