Won’t someone buy City, the club in my heart?
It may seem a big gamble to take
But the game would be poorer without us, I swear
Save City, for all the fans’ sake.

We’ve a pretty good squad, which we cannot afford

We’ve got a nice ground, but it’s not really ours
And we’ll probably lose it in June
But we might make the play-offs if we can play on
Save City; you’ve got to act soon.

But small clubs are worth more than you know

My team has the passion that makes football great And you know it, when push comes to shove
You’ve got four weeks to mend or break thousands of hearts –
Save City; do it for love.
