Siege of Cardiff City Stadium

Mogga’s red army, awfully arrayed,
Bubbling Boro
Ruthlessly, Cardiff City they besieged
For booty,
– Three points, the top spot, and fame,
Valiantly the red army pressed on
Like Hannibal marched elephants
Over the Alps,
Victory after victory
But for lack of a siege train,
Unable to conquer Rome,
Mowbray with scarce resources
Not afraid to climb peaks,
But for the lack of creative player,
Alas for Boro’s want of Odysseus
The summit, a goal too far.
