The team that I support
From Ninety Sixty Four
Up till the present day.

Even when they let me down
Which is quite often
But I’ll always be there.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’m not interested in Man United,
Chelsea, Arsenal, or Liverpool,
Coventry are number one for me
I’ll always stay loyal.

The slate has been wiped clean
Every club starts equal
All have a chance to shine.

Aidy Boothroyd sounding positive
He’s got us fans a little excited
Can this be the season for us ?

Sitting back in my usual seat
Familiar faces as I look around
All of us looking forward to the game.

Notes

First game out the way on Saturday, a nice win against Pompey, and a brace from Freddie Eastwood. The Pompey fans were brilliant as usual they never stop getting behind their team. Hence this poem, no matter the circumstances of your side, you just have to keep on believing,and stick with your club. Anyone can go and follow one of the “big” clubs, but to me the true fan stays loyal to their home town one.
