Strange bedfellows

Football and poetry are strange bedfellows,
dont you think,
like comparing Ray Winstone with Jullian Fellows,
`though i`m no shrink,
oh well, i suppose were all sensitive souls,
deep down inside,
who love to write prose and score goals,
on the side,
football and poetry are strange bedfellows,
dont you think,
keep trying to merge Milton, with Milburn,
maybe i need a shrink.
