1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 It was a fine goal by any standard,
in the Barcelona derby,
a fine run and finish, took my breath away
scored by Lionel Messi.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He ran and ran towards the goal,
beating man after man,
then beat the keeper with absolute ease,
making Kameni look like a clown.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Or then it could be Gerrard,
that goal against the Iron,
in the Final, smashed it home,
before celebrating like a lion.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The ball dropped for him nicely,
he smashed it towards goal,
the goalie didn’t see it, as the ball flew in,
and the Cup was theres to hold.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Also there was Ronaldo,
who scored a stunning free kick.
That left James stranded,asking ‘what could I do?’
its a shame but a clincial trick.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 A free kick on the edge of the box,
that swerved all over the place,
up and down, and in the net,
set them up for their title race.
