The F.A. Cup Third Round
¶ 1

One of the biggest days of the football calendar,
64 four teams,
From Premiership to non-league
Minnows standing toe to toe with the giants,
All equal for ninety minutes,
Part-timers playing with passion and pride
Cheered by their fans,
It the ground
And every soul gathered around radios
In their home town,
Chance for glory
To write their names in the record book
Become part of the town’s folk legend
– The giant killers
Plumbers, truck drivers, defiant underdogs
Conquered
Superstars with wages more than.
Budgets of most third world countries
The FA Cup rules !
OK ?
