When all the dust has settled
And the boots hung on the pegs
The shirts shoved in the washer
And the socks rolled off the legs
The ball squashed in the onion bag
The goal posts taken down
The seats removed the pitch dug up
Now silence haunts the ground

Voices broken down with song
The heart bursts at the seams
Stuffed full with pride the battling side
And living all those dreams
We fall as one we rise as one
Experience the same
Who really still believes this love
Is only just a game

Who really still believes this love
