There was a young boy
back in June of 1992.
A survivor.
Witness to the darkest side
of human nature.
In the small township of Boipatong,
which sat in the twisted shadow
of Inkatha Party territory
40 people died.
But that does not begin to tell
what happened on that day
in Boipatong.

The survivor, hidden then,
can now stand tall and proud.
Mbazo.
Aaron Mokoena.
A man. A leader.
Captain of his country;
The Rainbow Nation.
