Laughter once roamed here
But now we are left cold
Glory once grew here,
But the feeling is old.

Happiness overcome us
But now we grieve
For we cannot stay here
And we cannot leave.

Songs once were sung here
But only silence remains
The twin towers felt safe
Now brings such pain.

90 minutes stood still
Now the time flies by
Once we were safe, content and free
All together in our own Wembley.

The teams we’ve watched
With memories shared
Are only remembered
By the fans who cared.
