1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A new back four, a striker
and possibly Rob Green
is what’s needed by the Arsenal,
to make us a decent team.
The way the Arsenal played tonight,
no strike-force did we field,
but blunder lost and helpless,
in the final third of the field.
Defending is a concept too,
which has simply gone amiss,
from what was once a solid wall –
when did we become this?

Notes

I remember the good old days when Arsenal were a force to be reckoned with, the best team in the league. It all went wrong after Vieira left, followed by our back four – Cole,Campbell, Lauren. And of course who could forget the departure of Henry. This is a new Arsenal team these days, consistent only in their inconsistency.
